Therapy Services Tailored to your Emotional Well-Being

I support individuals in building coping skills, exploring choices that feel right for them, and working toward meaningful personal growth, including through the challenges of at-risk behaviours or justice involvement. I offer personalized individual sessions and offer group programs.

DBT Skills Program

The DBT Skills Program is a structured program consisting of 10 individual sessions, each lasting one hour, or 8 group sessions, each lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes. Sessions begin with a review of how the skills learned in the previous week were applied, followed by the introduction of new skills.

Throughout the program, you will learn the four core DBT skill areas in depth:

  • Mindfulness
  • Distress Tolerance
  • Emotion Regulation
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness

A digital participant handbook is provided to support your learning, allowing you to take notes, complete practice exercises, and track your progress as you apply the skills in your daily life. The goal of the program is to help you develop practical tools for managing emotions, coping with difficult situations, improving relationships, and building a life that aligns with your values.

Programme d'acquisition des compétences TCD

Le programme de compétences TCD est un programme structuré comprenant 10 séances individuelles d’une heure chacune ou 8 séances de groupe d’une durée de 1 h 15 chacune. Les séances commencent par une révision de la manière dont les compétences apprises la semaine précédente ont été appliquées, suivie de l’introduction de nouvelles compétences.

Tout au long du programme, vous apprendrez en profondeur les quatre domaines principaux des compétences TCD :

  • Régulation des émotions
  • Efficacité interpersonnelle

Un manuel numérique pour les participants est fourni afin de soutenir votre apprentissage, vous permettant de prendre des notes, de réaliser des exercices pratiques et de suivre vos progrès au fur et à mesure que vous appliquez les compétences dans votre vie quotidienne. L’objectif du programme est de vous aider à développer des outils pratiques pour gérer vos émotions, faire face aux situations difficiles, améliorer vos relations et construire une vie en accord avec vos valeurs.

Areas of Support

My work is primarily focused on DBT-informed counselling and skills development, supporting individuals who are navigating emotional, behavioural, and relational challenges.

Areas of support include:

  • Difficulties with emotional regulation, including intense emotions, mood shifts, or feeling easily overwhelmed
  • Anxiety, depression, stress, and general mental health concerns
    Coping skills development and distress tolerance in times of crisis or high emotional intensity
  • Impulsivity, anger, and risky or self-destructive behaviours
  • Relationship challenges, communication difficulties, and boundary-setting
  • Support for individuals impacted by a loved one’s substance use, risky behaviours, or involvement in the justice system
  • Support for youth and adults with current or past involvement in the justice system, including navigating stress related to probation, parole, or court processes
  • Substance use concerns and addictive patterns of behaviour
